Hardware: One-year Limited Warranty
Please be aware that hardware products manufactured and sold on or after January 1st, 2008 now attract a one-year limited warranty in all regions except for Europe, which attracts a two-year limited warranty (unless specified otherwise). All hardware products sold between September 1st, 2007 and December 31st, 2007 will still maintain a three-year limited warranty, provided you retain your proof of purchase. If you are unable to provide proof of purchase of your hardware product that was purchased between September 1st, 2007 and December 31st, 2007, your warranty terms will be changed to a period of 18 months from the date of manufacture.

To ensure continued support of your hardware product, please be sure to follow the suggestions listed below. If you need to make a warranty claim, please contact your dealer or Technical Support. (We recommend that you log in to your GV Desktop User Account and click on "Contact Your Grass Valley Desktop Technical Support Team" to use the convenient Web-mail form).

Send-in the warranty card and file your receipt
The warranty period on hardware commences from the date of purchase. Please note that you must mail in your warranty card as soon as possible after the time of purchase. A copy of your original purchase receipt will be required should you need to return your product for repair under warranty.

Be sure to register your new or previously-owned products online
In addition to repairs or replacement covered under the warranty, you'll want to keep current with the latest drivers, utilities, plug-ins and updates as they become available, or you may need assistance from the Grass Valley Desktop Technical Support team. In order to take advantage of these benefits, be sure to register your products online, in your GV Desktop User Account. If you do not already have an account, create a new GV Desktop User Account now. If you have already established a GV Desktop User Account, log in to register to your new product(s) and to find out what Downloads are available to you.

Software: 90-day Limited Warranty
All software is covered by a 90-day limited warranty. Note that third-party software that may come bundled with products is not warranted by Grass Valley — consult warranty information from the third-party manufacturer.
